Two songs that span two generations. One on the militant concept of Martyrdom and hard fought independence! The other on the non violent symbols of our independence struggle; the poet elaborates, the imagination is let loose today, new vistas opening up hitherto unheard of, yet the secular strands on which the country stands loosely tethered need to be strengthened. The song ends with the exhortation--- let's go back to the teachings of the great social reformers- One country, One religion, One caste!!
